Seven wins three APA awards
Seven has come up trumps at The APA International Content Marketing Awards. It won three awards and was highly commended for three digital titles! The winners were announced at a glittering awards ceremony last night at Old Billingsgate, London.
Seven’s winning titles include Sainsbury’s Magazine for Best Consumer publication (retail). The UK’s most widely read paid-for title, with 3.5 million readers every month (NRS), Sainbury's Magazine is the only magazine to have won the coveted PPA Customer Magazine Award at the annual Periodical Publisher’s Association (PPA) Awards three times.
Sainsbury’s Little Ones has won the Best Integrated Marketing Solution of the year (consumer) for the second year running. In the four years of the categories history, Seven has won three times, for ASOS and Sainsbury’s Little Ones. The title was also highly commended in the Grand Prix category, which recognises overall excellence based on the single piece of work that stands above the winners across all 27 categories in effectiveness, creativity, brand synergy, originality and strategic thinking.
Blue Door media, a subsidiary of Seven, has also seen success with Barometer (Savills), winning the Best Consumer Publication (non-retail) title.
Seven’s other titles have also been highly commended, including PROJECT, the first iPad native magazine in the world, for the Best Mobile Solution category. PROJECT, a collaboration between Seven and Virgin Digital Publishing, was recently shortlisted in the PPA Data & Digital Publishing Awards 2011 for App of the Year.
Seven’s other highly commended honour went to The Guardian’s Poverty Over campaign for Christian Aid in the Best Digital Solution category,
Sean King, CEO said: “It’s great news for Seven to have won across both print and digital categories.
